My research interests and publication themes include women’s groups, sexuality and gender in Japan, agency, ethnography and marriage and singlehood throughout Asia..
At present I am engaged in an ARC Discovery Early Career Researcher Award project focusing on intimate relationships outside the family in contemporary Japan.
