Biography
Richard Fox has a DPhil in physics from the University of Oxford and was appointed Head of The Department of Medical Physics at Royal Perth Hospital in 1980. He commenced teaching medical students in 1980 initially giving a full course of 78 lectures per year and continued with a lesser teaching load until 2012. He retired from RPH in 2002 but continued as a member of the Radiological Council of WA and Chairman of its Compliance Testing Working Party, he is also chairman of the Cancer Council's Medical Radiation and Cancer Working Party. He is an examiner for the College of Radiologists Part I exam.
