BA (Murdoch University, 1994)
MSc (The University of Western Australia, 2013)
Key research
Design and construction of robotic telescopes for education and research, including the creation and delivery of supporting learning programs for teachers and students.
Current research interests: Spectroscopic study of massive stars.
Roles, responsibilities and expertise
Sole responsibility for the management and delivery of the SPIRIT initiative at the International Centre for Radio Astronomy Research (ICRAR), in both outreach and science.
Funding received
$50,000 (ICRAR & School of Physics) for the establishment of the SPIRIT I telescope.
$60,000 (Hawaiian donation) for the deployment of SPIRIT II
$20,000 (SPICE, ICRAR, Physics) for the deployment of SPIRIT II
Memberships
Member, Astronomical Society of Australia.
Honours and awards
Co-discoverer of 11 Supernovae and 3 minor planets

Delivery of SPIRIT training to 3rd Year Astrophysics students.
