Biography
Dr Saif Al Ghafri is a young researcher with few years experience in the field of fluid properties and thermodynamics and is the author of few peer-reviewed scientific publications and conference papers.

He has worked as a research associate at Imperial College London where he conducted research related to carbon capture and storage(CCS). He is currently a research fellow at the university of Western Australia. He is also an honorary research associate at Imperial College London.

Roles, responsibilities and expertise
Plan, develop and conduct research projects within the area of gas process engineering, including areas such as LNG thermodynamics, flow assurance, apparatus design, gas separations, and CO2 sequestration
Develop and write relevant research grant applications for industry and government as well as conducting consultancy and collaboration work
Develop and deliver lectures to University students in gas process engineering or related disciplines, supervision of different students, publishing and presenting the group at international conferences
Gaining skills and expertise in a variety of different energy-related research fields and leading and coordinating the thermophysical group team
