Community Partners West Coast Fever

Our three-year partnership with Netball WA represents an unprecedented step in Western Australian women’s sport – the first between an elite female sporting team and a tertiary education institution.

We are particularly proud to support one of our elite women’s sporting organisations and help raise the profile of women’s sport on a national scale.

About the partnership

As a major partner of Netball WA, West Coast Fever and Western Sting, our support extends far beyond the playing and training court.

The depth of our partnership encompasses exciting work placement opportunities for UWA students in any area they choose. Additionally, students, staff and alumni have the opportunity to volunteer at key Netball WA events including games and corporate functions.

West Coast Fever players attend key UWA events, such as Open Day and O-Week, to offer our community discounts and special offers to encourage them to get involved with the sport.

The West Coast Fever team also receives branded apparel, with the UWA logo featured on the playing dress and training gear, as well as court signage.

The UWA brand is synonymous with excellence and success, both here in the west as well as on the national and international stage, and it’s an institution we are incredibly proud to partner with. This partnership represents the type of truly integrated relationship our club prides itself on establishing within the Western Australian community. I have no doubt UWA will provide Fever with a competitive edge, both on and off the court, in the Suncorp Super Netball era.
