The Worldwide Universities Network (WUN) is a group of 23 research-intensive universities, bringing together the expertise necessary to address issues that impact the planet, and its people.
The Worldwide Universities Network spans eleven countries across six continents, supporting the facilitation of collaborative research, and the exchange of research staff and students.
WUN collaborations aim to involve a number of world-leading academic partners in addressing the following Global Challenges:
The annual Research Development Fund (RDF) offers grants of up to £10,000 to support international research collaborations bewtween WUN members and partners.
Small grants (approx. $2,000) are available for UWA participation in Research Development Fund applications administered by WUN partners. Applicants must provide evidence of invitation to participate in an RDF by the lead investigator, or a WUN Coordinator.
To encourage researchers to benefit from our association with WUN, the University provides funding on a competitive basis to support staff and postgraduate students to initiate, expand and maintain collaborative research projects with WUN partners.
The UWA Research Collaboration Awards provide funding to support new and developing initiatives that will expand the University’s research collaborations.
