Introduction

The University of Western Australia Historical Society (UWAHS) has compiled this nominal roll of University men and women who served in the Second World War to commemorate the 75th anniversary of the end of that war.

Remembering UWA 1943

On a bright sunny February day in 1943, I walked along King's Park Road, cut across the Park, clambered down Jacob?s Ladder and took a trolley bus on Mounts Bay Drive to alight at the University of Western Australia.

St George's College Roll of Honour

This Roll of Honour for St George?s College pays tribute to the 14 young men, all members of the College between 1931 and 1941, who were killed during the Second World War, 1939-1945.
